Constantine Singer began his writing career later in life, having his debut novel released just after his 47th birthday.
He grew up in Seattle and earned his BA from Earlham College and his Masters from Seattle University. He currently lives in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles with his family and teaches history at a high school in South LA.
Constantine brings the skills and tools he's developed over his 20+ years of high school English and social science teaching to the table when it comes to helping others recreate the "slushpile success" he made for himself with the publication of his debut YA novel, STRANGE DAYS (Putnam, 2018).
Constantine continues to teach high school and write his own work, but he has also found a new passion -- helping other writers develop their ideas into vibrant, well-told, stories. He teaches classes in YA novel-writing and does writer mentorships through the Dallas Writer's Workshop.
